Imagine a Seattle darker than your own. Where thousands upon thousands of people sleep in the streets, denied the city’s unimaginable wealth and glitter, and thousands more escape into opioid dreams. Cops gun down pregnant women with impunity in front of their children, pedophiles achieve public office, and the richest man in all of history holds everything in his grubby fist, the city’s government groveling to do his bidding.
What’s that, you say? That is your Seattle?
Emerald Summer is a Mage: the Ascension game set in an alternate Seattle of 2018, but perhaps not as alternate as you would like. The characters are Traditionalists and Disparates working together against the dying of the light, at the end of summer in the Emerald City.
